I was born and raised in beautiful Orange County, California, but I am now an Austin, Texas based designer with an Art & Design BFA from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo.



This site is a relic from my college days in the early 2010s. Check out the business I've built since then: Almost Real Things! It's a magazine, event series, studio, venue, bus, and more (if you can believe it).

I am a Graphic Designer, Musician, DJ, and avid entrepreneur. My life revolves around creativity and the ability to shape the world around me. As a perpetual student, I continue to learn and grow everyday, acquiring new skills to help me solve any problem.

The motto on the Zulch family crest reads "Nulli Secundus" or "Second to None." Although being last is tradition, I strive to lead the pack when it comes to work ethic and creativity. I love working with other people so feel free to contact me if you want to get creative!

Brand Identity Design
Bread Crumbs Delicatessen is a comprehensive rebrand of the local sandwich shop Mr. Pickles. The development process began with thorough research of the existing business's market and clientele. A new name and slogan were then chosen to represent the business's reimagined "look and feel." The first phase ended with the design of a business system including business cards, frequent flyer cards, envelopes, and a letterhead.
In the second phase, a suite of four logos was designed, along with color and typeface specifications. With the digital files finalized, development began on five types of packaging, order forms, storefront signage, promotional materials, and a website. In the final phase, a comprehensive 75 page standards manual was created to ensure proper usage of all elements and materials.
ZipTrip
Mobile Travel Application UI/UX
ZipTrip is a personal project that I conceptualized during my travels overseas during the Summer of 2013. It is a mobile application that allows the user to update their current travel status and budget on the go. The Journal and World Map will be visible to the public or select people on the website, giving parents and loved ones the opportunity to see your journey in real time. The Statistics tab is used for your personal budget and shows spending history and other information in graphical and textual formats.
To Be Clean Is Hygiene
Package and Advertisement Design
“To Be Clean Is Hygiene” delves into the importance of cleanliness through interactive games and entertainment. It aims to promote healthy behavior to elementary school children through a series of three related tissue box designs and a print ad. Research shows that playing with a purpose develops children’s strongest memories by helping them connect information to a specific event. My approach utilizes jokes, activities, and the classic game “Red Light, Green Light” to build knowledge of germ avoidance.
